INTERPRETATION OF OUTLET PRESSURE TRACE
The standard method of interpreting the outlet pressure trace is as follows:
- If the pressure trace evidences an upslope condition after the initial spike, then the peak pressure is defined as the average value at the apex of the upslope.
- If the pressure trace evidences a relative flat condition after the initial spike, then the peak pressure is defined as the average value at an arbitrarily selected point along the flat portion of the trace.
